Public Sociology

The Centre is committed to public sociology: we want to advance and shape debates beyond  academia and contribute to the necessary socio-ecological transformation. This includes actively participating in public debates, forging collaborations with cultural institutions in Hamburg and beyond, such as Kampnagel, the Deutsches SchauSpielHaus Hamburg, and the Theater des Anthropozän, and cooperating with artists and journalists through our Writers in Residence programme.
