New Fellow arrived: Welcome Gerard Delanty!

We welcome Professor Gerard Delanty (University of Sussex) to our Centre.

His current research deals with various applications of critical theory. He is particularly interested in the sociological interpretation of the anthropocene. He has just finished the book "Critical and Social Transformation" (Routledge 2020), which summarizes his work of the last five years on capitalism, cosmopolitanism, memory and the future.

He is interested in showing that a critical theoretical perspective can provide much-needed insights into the pressing socio-political challenges of our time.

We look forward to a lively exchange with him and to his contribution to our opening conference in November.
