Fellow in winter semester: Michael Seemann

The blogger, lecturer and author Michael Seemann is "Writer in Residence" at our Centre. He deals with topics like whistleblowing, data protection, copyright, internet culture, platforms and the crisis of institutions in times of digital loss of control. Since 2017 he is on the supervisory board of the Grimme Research College. In 2018 he founded the Otherwise Network together with like-minded people and has been on the board of directors since then.

He is currently working on his second book: Die Macht der Plattformen - Politik in Zeiten der Internetgiganten.
