Neuer Gastwissenschaftler: Tawanda Jimu

Tawanda Jimu is currently a post-doctoral researcher at the African Climate and Development Initiative (ACDI). His work is part of the UCT Khusela Ikamva sustainable campus project. Tawanda’s research focusses on sustainability transitions, and sustainability governance at UCT. His previous work has been interdisciplinary in nature and it covered concepts and insights from regional fish trade, integrated resource governance, fisheries resources conflicts, and the links between poverty, inequality, land and agrarian studies. Tawanda holds a PhD in Geography and Environmental Studies (Stellenbosch), MPhil in Poverty, Land and Agrarian studies (PLAAS, University of the Western Cape). Prior to joining ACDI he worked on a WorldFish Africa fish trade project, and other regional programs.
