Alexa Höber is a freelance television author. After studying visual communication with Prof. Wim Wenders at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts, she has been working as an investigative journalist specialising in environmental and climate issues since 2008. She has published in the programmes Tagesschau, tagesschau.de, tagesschau-podcast 11km, Plusminus, Panorama, Markt, Panorama 3, Visite, NDR INFO, WDR Westpol and Deutschlandfunk. As part of her fellowship, she is investigating how the atmospheric boundary surrounding the planet in which greenhouse gases collect can be visualised with the help of AI. She is developing forms of visualisation to make visible the effects of political debates and the resulting legislation on the composition of the first atmospheric layer, the troposphere.
