Kezia Barker is Senior Lecturer in Geography at Liverpool John Moores University. Her research considers the intersection between environmental futures and cultures of nature, particularly public responses to environmental insecurity, crisis-attuned subjectivities and framings of ecological threat. She has recently been investigating prepping, bushcraft and foraging in the UK and will be starting a Leverhulme Fellowship in 2027 to research a genealogy of survival through survival manuals.
