The climate crisis poses an acute threat to our livelihoods, yet it is usually only one topic among others in the media coverage. This does not do justice to the urgency and complexity of the crisis. It distorts public perception - and thus also influences the ability of politics, business and society to react to the scale and speed of the problem.
In her lecture, journalist and co-founder of the Network Climate Journalism Germany, Sara Schurmann, will shed light on the structural problems in journalism that are responsible for the distorted presentation. And she shows what it would take to change this.
